Technical Specification 007 / Provenance

Built by operators.

AGYNTX was built by people who have actually run stores, managed ad budgets, shipped products, and watched a confident-sounding AI tool give a completely wrong answer and bill them for it anyway. The record of how the drawing got here is filed below, revision by revision.

REVISIONS FILED: 5 FOCUS GROUPS CONSULTED: 0 ORIGIN: THE FIELD, NOT THE WHITEBOARD
REV 0Origin · The Field

First drawn where the work happens.

Before there was a product there were operators: running stores, managing ad budgets, shipping products, taking the 3am call when a feed broke. The first lines of this drawing were not drawn in a strategy session. They were drawn in the gap between what the tools promised and what the ledger said the next morning.

REV 1Change: Confidence Protocol

The protocol came from getting burned.

The Confidence Protocol was not a feature request from a focus group. It came from getting burned. From watching a model tell an operator their best customer cohort was declining when it was actually their best week in a year. From seeing “recommended” budgets that had no source and no logic and cost someone five figures in a weekend. This revision added the grade to every figure and the brake that engages as certainty drops.

REV 2Change: One Machine

Operating system is the belief, not the pitch.

The operating system framing is not marketing. It is the actual belief: ecommerce operators should not need fourteen tools to run one store. This revision consolidated the sheet. The intelligence lives in one place, the decisions are traceable end to end, and the AI confesses when it is guessing. Everything that could not meet that standard was struck from the drawing.

REV 3Change: Ownership

Privately held. Independently funded.

No venture timeline. No pressure to ship dashboards that look good in demos but lie in production. This revision is structural: the company answers to the operators running it and the stores running on it, and nothing on this sheet exists to impress a board slide. The machine gets better on the schedule the ledger sets.

REV 4Change: Deletions

What was struck from the drawing.

A provenance record lists what was removed as carefully as what was added. Four proposals were reviewed and rejected, and they stay rejected.

Rejected

Another dashboard. Screens that describe the problem are not the product.

Rejected

Another agent that hallucinates and bills you anyway. Confidence without provenance does not pass inspection.

Rejected

A fourteen-app stack with one login. Consolidating the invoices is not consolidating the intelligence.

Rejected

A marketing analytics tool. This is an operator’s OS, and it is drawn as one.
